Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) is committed to ensuring that our essential services are available to the community. We have modified its operations to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.
Below are the program and operational modifications, and resources for community members regarding important information about COVID-19. 
Current Program & Operation Modifications
Our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program at Eagles Nest facility
in Buena Vista is temporarily closed.
Current participants of Eagles Nest can receive telehealth services. 
The Magnolia Center Day Support Program is currently only open to residents of our residential group homes and only to residents of one home at a time.
 
Additionally, all Community Engagement Day Support Services are suspended.​
Our residential group homes (Rockbridge Meadows, Deer Haven, Arc Acres, and Wellman) are currently closed to outside visitors at this time. 
 
We will be happy to assist you in reaching a friend or family member by phone or video conference. 
All visitors to RACS will need to participate in a brief COVID-19 screening prior to participation in on-site services

Daily life during the COVID-19 pandemic can be stressful. Individuals may feel worried, anxious, isolated or depressed as a result of the impact COVID-19 has had on us all. We want residents of Rockbridge County, Lexington, Buena Vista, and Bath County to know that we continue to offer a variety of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability services.
