Description of Program Services
Mental Health Support Services offers practical help in managing everyday life. The goal is to help people successfully handle both the freedom and the responsibilities of independent living. By providing training and support for persons transitioning into, or currently living in our community, Mental Health Support Services helps insure peoples’ success in independent and health services. Mental Health Support Services places emphasis on helping individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful and satisfied in the living, working, learning and social environments of their choice. |

Specialized Programs
Once a referral is received an individual meets with a staff person and begins to work one on one to determine needs and develop personalized goals and objectives. Such plans can either be transitional or long term in nature and can focus on interpersonal relationships, activities of daily living, personal growth and development and recreational and leisure time activities. What ever its emphasis, the plan is designed to provide support to an individual to ease his or her adjustment to community living through a process of learning, practicing and polishing the skills of social involvement, personal and financial management. |
