Retirement and Life Insurance:
Full time salaried employees are required to participate in the Virginia Retirement System and Group Life Insurance plan. The Board contributes 5% of the employee's salary to the retirement system plus an additional amount set annually by the VRS system. The Life Insurance benefits are twice the employee's annual salary to the nearest $1,000.
Workman's compensation, bonding and professional liability insurance premiums are paid in full by the Board.
