Position #SH01 - Temporary CADP Technician -  (CAFS Child and Adolescent Day Program)

DUTIES: Work within our innovative Child and Adolescent Day Program during the summer  providing psycho-social treatment, coaching, and counseling with emotionally/behaviorally disturbed children and adolescents.  This position would start on June 1st and conclude on August 15th.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess Bachelor’s degree, with experience working with children and adolescents in group settings. Must be creative, energetic and flexible, and be willing to be a part of an excellent clinical team.  

REQUIRED:  Valid VA Driving License with safe driving record.

Position # BRC06 –  Community Direct Support Staff - Full Time

Here is an opportunity to work with both our Day Support and Residential Program in Bath County. 

DUTIES: Responsible for assisting program planning, development, and implementation in our Day Support Program in Millboro.  Also responsible for providing supervision, life skills training, and community integration services at the Millboro Residential group home.  Program needs will determine work schedule and duties.

Position #TT02 - Overnight-Awake Residential Support Staff

Buena Vista, VA- Full-time

DUTIES:  Providing supervision and assistance during overnight hours, assisting with training in independent living skills, daily documentation, administration and monitoring of medications, moderate to heavy cleaning, some cooking, filing and basic computer skills.  Occasional day/evening shifts may be required.

Position #BRC04 - Residential Coordinator - Full Time (Natural Bridge, VA)

DUTIES:  Community Support services. Manage daily operations of Group Home for adults with developmental disabilities.  Supervise staff, program development, provide supervision and training in independent living skills to residents. Must be willing to train and become a Certified Housing Manager since the facility is a HUD facility.   Must be able to work flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend hours included.  Must be able to physically assist adult with disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have Bachelors degree.  3 years experience in MR services preferred.

Position #KL19 - ACS-Clinician- licensed - 1 part time  and 1 full time position

DUTIES:  Provide services for adults with mental health and/or substance abuse concerns at our Bath County and Lexington clinics. General duties include providing individual and group counseling for adults, maintaining proper documentation, participate in a multidisciplinary team, and occasionally provide day-time crisis coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s Degree in human services related field and 1 year clinical  experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of mental health and substance abuse assessments, treatment, crisis assessment, and intervention strategies for clients of all ages. Must be certified or eligible to be certified as a pre-screener by the CSB and Virginia DMHMRSAS.
