Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors. All board members are volunteers and are appointed by the four local jurisdictions served by RACS.

The RACS Board of Directors meets monthly (except for July and August). Their meetings are typically held on the fourth Wednesday of the month beginning at 3:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the RACS Greenhouse Rd. building (241 Greenhouse Rd., Lexington, VA), unless otherwise noted.
