When is a doctor available?

The Psychiatric Services Unit of the RACS provides psychiatric evaluation and specialized medication for the treatment of mental illness for adults and children in Lexington, Buena Vista, Bath and Rockbridge Counties. The unit has a wealth of experience and is dedicated to improving the quality of functioning for each individual.

PSYCHIATRIST DAILY SCHEDULE:

MONDAY

   No psychiatrist

TUESDAY

   8:30am - 12pm Dr. Varun Choudhary - Telepsychiatrist  

   9:00am - 4:30pm Dr. Philip Halapin

   1:00pm - 5:00pm Dr. Clark Bates

WEDNESDAY

   No psychiatrist

THURSDAY

   7:30am - 9:30am - Dr. Kirk Luder

   5pm - 7pm Dr. Kirk Luder

   9:00am - 4:30pm Dr. Philip Halapin          

FRIDAY 

   No psychiatrist

(Nurses are available Monday through Friday 8:3am-5:00pm)
